It’s hard to imagine the things we don’t know.
Things we can’t see and places we can’t go.
It’s hard to know what’s wrong and what’s right.
Is it based on circumstance or based on sight?
How do you know what to say at a time
When words can’t even begin to define?
And how do you describe the emotions you feel
When you don’t even know if you’ve begun to heal?
It seems so easy to cry out for help.
But no one can relate to how it felt.
Are they lending their mind or just lending their ears?
Could you really tell them your inner most fears?
What about life? Do you know the meaning?
Are you the type to say “seeing is believing”?
Take a step back and look in a mirror.
Would you understand the message if it was more clear?
Don’t judge, don’t lie, don’t cheat and don’t steal.
Don’t be afraid to stand up and be real.
